Today I want to stop for a minute.
Not to pitch anything. Not to remind you of a deadline. Just to stop.
There are people in this country who left home not knowing if they were coming back. Who made that choice anyway. Who decided that something bigger than themselves was worth that risk.
Some came back different. Some didn't come back at all.
It isn't a cookout or a sale. It's a day to hold the names of the people who paid for our ordinary Tuesday mornings. For our right to disagree, to dream, to build something of our own.
Today, remember
I don't take that lightly. I never have.
If you have someone you're thinking about today, I hope you say their name out loud. That's not a small thing. That's everything.
Thank you to every family who gave someone they loved.
With respect,
Loral
P.S. We'll be back to business tomorrow. Today just isn't that day.
